Traditionally the consumption of sea urchins and the sea anemone is limited to certain towns in the province of Cadiz, Spain, and in the case of sea urchins, restricted to only certain times of the year. However, in the last decade their consumption has increased substantially, with these products becoming appreciated for their exquisite taste and as a real delicacy both along the Andalusia coast and within mainland Spain, being served in the finest of dining restaurants.
